WHAT IS UNIBEN JAMB CUTOFF MARK FOR 2022 SESSION?

The UTME Cut off Mark for UNIBEN is 200.

UNIBEN has published the cut off mark for the 2022/2023 academic session. If you want to gain admission into UNIBEN then you need to know the cut off mark.

For quite a long period of time, UNIBEN cutoff Mark has not gone below 200. This is due to some reasons:-

Firstly, setting the cutoff Mark at 200 reduces the competition. Every year, a massive amount of students apply to study in UNIBEN. Hence, the cutoff is usually set at 200 to cut off so many applicants that didn’t meet up, thereby reducing the competition.

Also, the cutoff is set at 200 to maintain the standard of the school. UNIBEN is among the top 15 Public Universities in Nigeria. Therefore, reducing its cutoff can be seen as lowering its standard.

Having said that, please, if you’re aspiring to study in UNIBEN, make sure your score is 200 or above to avoid disqualification.

Also, note that, scoring 200 and above in your UTME does not guarantee automatic admission. Applicants must pass through screening stage, which is in form of a written exam. WHAT ARE UNIBEN ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR 2022 SESSION?

Entry into UNIBEN is based on three things. Your UTME score, your o’level result and your post UTME result. Although, when calculating your aggregate score, your o’level result does not add up. Just your UTME and post UTME score. This is in no way saying that o’level doesn’t matter. It matters, and you are going to see how below.

Also, please be informed that Post UTME form may likely be out around August or September. The exam will be written in December. So, I suggest you buckle down in your preparations towards it. The price for the Post UTME will be communicated to you once it is out. But from last year, the price was #4,500.

If one wishes to study at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), the candidate must meet the requirements listed below for admission to the school:

• First choose UNIBEN as the first choice institution before any other considerations
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of application
• You must have at least five (5) credit pass for SSCE or its equivalent for no more than two (2) sessions.
• Get a reasonable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Board Exam (UTME). Minimum of 200.
• Have acceptable/reasonable results on post-UTME exams. Minimum of 50/100.

With all this requirements, you stand a good chance of being admitted into the University of Benin. Just make sure you have a good O’Level result and a good JAMB Score.

WHAT IS UNIBEN SCHOOL FEES FOR 2022 SESSION?

UNIBEN school fees for 2022 session is 73,500 and 69,900 for Freshers, and 45,000 and 41,000 for returning students.

UNIBEN school fee is divided into two parts. We have school fee for freshers. And school fees for returning students.

Also, school fees is divided into two sets of students. Medical students and Non medical students.

For Freshers:-

– Medical Students:- 73,500

– Non Medical students:- 69,900

For Returning Students:-

– Medical students:- 45,000

– Non medical students:- 41,000

Please note that UNIBEN school fees is paid every session. That is, you are only paying once for both semesters.
